One of the pillars is seen in the distance. After exiting Mena, we met in front of Al-Bayah Masjid to coordinate our Uber rides back to the hotel. (A historical location where prophet Muhammad preached to passersby traveling for their Hajj pilgrimage, after the Meccan society disbelieved and persecuted him. A pivotal point in history happened here when a few people from Medina (Yathrib) who had come for Hajj believed Muhammad and spread Islam to Medina, and later facilitated the migration of Muhammad to Medina.Cutting our hair at the barber shop near our hotel to indicate that we finished Hajj and are exiting the state of Ihram (Sanctity)Feeling refreshed, and appreciating each other’s new look after cutting the hair.Family love after Hajj, enjoying the view from one of the balconies inside the Sacred MasjidBrotherly love after Hajj, enjoying the view from one of the balconies inside the Sacred MasjidOne of the many prayer halls inside the Sacred MasjidEveryone minding their own business inside the Sacred MasjidContact Prayer time at the Sacred MasjidBreakfast and enjoying the view from the top of the hotel after HajjRandom and respectful discussion after breakfast, after finishing HajjBonding and friendship after HajjRespectfully chatting about our different cultures after breakfast.Enjoying ship stories from the ship captain as we are waiting at the hotel for an Uber rideCrowds lining up for the Contact Prayer at the courtyard of the Sacred Masjid. Some of us chose to have one more farewell look at the beautiful Kaaba.Kaaba from the second floor of the Sacred MasjidThe name of God (Allah) inscribed in one of the pillars of the Sacred Masjid. (Unfortunately, in more than 90% of the masjids around the world, the Sunni and Shia authorities in the later stages of the history of Islam have inscribed both the name of God and the name of Muhammad in the masjid walls. That displeases God – when one of his servants, prophet Muhammad, is being elevated and honored as much as God in the masjid walls. However, it was pleasantly surprising to see that this was not the case in the Sacred Masjid. In all the walls of the Sacred Masjid, we saw only the name of God inscribed in the walls, without associating any partners with Him.A view from the hotel towards the Sacred MasjidShopping Mall near the Sacred MasjidFarwell meeting before a lot of us traveled back home. Our farewell photo.
