Disease is mentioned in the Quran in these verses:

[2:8] Then there are those who say, “We believe in God and the Last Day,” while they are not believers.

[2:9] In trying to deceive God and those who believe, they only deceive themselves without perceiving.

[2:10] In their minds there is a disease. Consequently, God augments their disease. They have incurred a painful retribution for their lying.

[24:50] Is there a disease in their hearts? Are they doubtful? Are they afraid that God and His messenger may treat them unfairly? In fact, it is they who are unjust.

[33:32] O wives of the prophet, you are not the same as any other women, if you observe righteousness. (You have a greater responsibility.) Therefore, you shall not speak too softly, lest those with disease in their hearts may get the wrong ideas; you shall speak only righteousness.

[33:60] Unless the hypocrites, and those with disease in their hearts, and the vicious liars of the city refrain (from persecuting you), we will surely grant you the upper hand, then they will be forced to leave within a short while.
